A caretaker inspects mango seedlings at the Lamlunay Research and Learning Center (LRLC) in the village of Upo, finalist in the recent Gawad Galing Pook national awards on outstanding local governance programs. LRLC in Maitum town in Sarangani province is a 108-hectare facility that maintains nurseries of fruit trees and other crops and distributes seedlings to different villages.
